Privacy notice

Effective November 4, 2026. This website is run by Liên Đoàn Chí Linh, a Vietnamese-American scout troop. You can reach us at ldchilinh@ldchilinh.org.

What we collect

The contact form asks for your name, email address, a subject and your message, and optionally a phone number. Web3Forms, a form-delivery service, passes it to the troop's email inbox so a leader can reply. We use it only to answer you.

Parents and children

This site is written for parents and the scouting community. Please send registration questions yourself, using your own contact details, and leave children's health or payment details out of the message. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 through this website.

Page visits, maps and fonts

We count page visits with a privacy-friendly analytics tool (analytics.mysplit.fit). It records the page, the site that sent you and your screen size, and it does not use cookies or identify you. Fonts load from Google Fonts, and the contact page shows a Google Map; those services receive your browser's request like any website you visit. We do not use advertising trackers, and Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals change nothing here because we do not track you across sites.

How long we keep it

Messages stay in the troop's inbox for as long as they are useful to answer you and plan troop activities. To see, correct or delete what you sent, including anything about your child, email ldchilinh@ldchilinh.org.
